Live-in care provides holistic, round-the-clock care and support that enables you or a loved one to stay in the comfort of your own home with a dedicated professional carer who lives with you. If your care and support needs cannot be met by hourly care, it may become necessary to have a carer present in the house at all times to provide that reassurance and helping hand whenever needed. Live-in care can include 24-hour care if you require waking night support for more advanced clinical needs. With 24-hour care, there will usually be one main live-in carer who lives with you full-time and other carers who may support you overnight or during the day when your regular carer is taking a break or needs assistance with moving and handling duties.
